Will the file be exactly 50 KB?
It will be 50 KB or a little less. 50 KB is taken as 50,000 bytes, so the file passes a form that counts a kilobyte as 1,000 bytes and one that counts 1,024.
What if a lower quality is not enough?
Then the picture is also made smaller in pixels until it fits, and the result says its new width and height. A large phone photo usually needs this to reach 50 KB.
Can I choose a different size?
Yes. Type any size of 5 KB or more in the Target size box, or choose Quality to set the quality yourself.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your own device.
