Using the tools

Everything here is free to use, for personal or business work, with no account and no daily limit. You keep every right to the files you open. We gain nothing over them: the browser tools never send them to us, and the server tools delete them within 10 minutes.

Keep your originals

These tools create new files and never modify the ones on your disk. Even so, keep your originals until you have checked the result. Browsers run out of memory, tabs close, and machines restart at inconvenient moments.

No warranty

The tools are provided as they are. We have tested them carefully, but we cannot promise every file will work, because the file formats involved are old, varied and frequently produced by software that does not follow its own rules. We are not liable for lost work. This is the plain truth of it rather than legal decoration.

Fair use

Do not use these tools to break the law, to remove protection from documents you have no right to open, or to process material you do not have permission to handle.

Changes

If these terms change we will say so on this page with the date of the change.
