How it works

Each picture becomes one page, scaled to fit the page size you choose without stretching. JPG data is embedded as it is, with its own colour profile when it carries one, so camera and iPhone colours come through. PNG data is embedded as it is too, except a PNG that carries its own gamma or colour profile, or holds 16 bits per channel, which is redrawn first so it looks as it does on screen. A phone photo that carries a rotation note is turned upright and saved again as JPG at quality 92, and WebP is redrawn without loss.

Can I reorder the photos?

Yes, drag them into the order you want before converting.

Which page size should I use?

A4 for most of the world, Letter in the United States, or Fit to image to keep the exact proportions of each picture.

Are the photos re-compressed?

Usually not. JPG files are embedded as they are, and so are most PNG files, which also means a photo keeps its own EXIF block, including any GPS position. Run Remove EXIF data on the photos first if that matters. A photo stored sideways with a rotation note is turned upright and saved again at quality 92, which is not visible.

Does it work with PNG and WebP too?

Yes, despite the name.
